We are so lucky we found Jashim and his team. They are incredibly professional, timely, easy to reach, and personable. Their work is unbelievable. I specifically asked for candid moments and Jashim and his team truly delivered. He even accommodated our lifestyle session (usually done in NYC) back in DC where we live and covered our wedding in NJ. He has an eye for creativity/detail and we are so lucky he and his team captured our big day. Due to our distance we couldn't do the studio reveal but our photos came to us beautifully packaged with curated prints selected by Jashim and a heartwarming message. Thank you!

Jashim and Ruby were absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding. Just from the initial call, we could tell that Jashim was interested in getting to know about us and what we wanted out of the experience which was different than any phone calls we had with other photographers. When our calls would run over time, Jashim would make sure to schedule another call to make sure we didn't leave out any key points. With our engagement photoshoot, Jashim made my fiance and I feel super comfortable since we are not that experienced with posing for pictures. He listened to my ideas as I can be really picky with photos and was able to recreate the vision I had in mind. He even ran to get me water when I fainted from the heat lol. For our wedding weekend, Jashim was on top of finding the best spots/locations at our venue for the most aesthetic shots and he was able to help us create our reception entrance video. We could tell a lot of research was done prior to the wedding weekend to make our vision a reality. He coordinated seamlessly with our video team to make sure they didn't spend too much time posing for pictures so we could enjoy the day as much as we could. This is something that we really appreciated. Jashim and his team would go above and beyond for the perfect images and have a surprisingly quick turnaround time for getting wedding photos back! I know couples with other wedding photographers who have to wait several months or even a year to get their wedding photos back but Jashim was able to get us sneak peeks even a week after the wedding! Hiring his team was one of the easiest decisions of this wedding planning process and if you are going to spend more money on anything, I definitely recommend that being photo/video. Hire Jashim for your wedding - you won't regret it!!

Jashim and his team are absolutely incredible!! Prior to getting engaged, my husband and I had seen Jashim's work both on social media and online and were immediately impressed. After speaking with other photographers, we realized we didn't want anyone other than Jashim. As soon as we had our first phone call, we immediately clicked. I wanted a photographer who would capture our love story and Jashim's work has reflected all that and more. His style is creative, artistic, bold and playful. You won't get your typical prom poses with Jashim- instead you'll get photos that belong on the cover of Vogue. His precision, perspective and imagination cannot be compared. Everyone that has ever seen our engagement and wedding photos has been instantly taken back at how gorgeous the photos are! Not only is Jashim a creative genius but he's an amazing person. He makes you feel so comfortable and at ease when he's around. That's the type of person you'll want on a day like your wedding where you are being pulled in 10 million different directions and are stressed about everything. Jashim has a great personality and has gone from being our wedding photographer to also being an amazing friend.

Words cannot describe how amazing Jashim Jalal Studios is. Whatever you see online and in reviews, its better. My fiancé booked him for our proposal and he absolutely blew us away. Not only did he hide in the bushes for us to capture every moment, but also he gave us the time to soak it all in while still getting us the shots we want to remember for a lifetime. We got the pictures back and decided to book him not just one more time, but twice more! . We took our engagement pictures on one of the coldest days (felt like spring the day before), he came prepared with hand warmers for both of us and made sure to give us time to recollect ourselves between shots. He showed us our images real time and asked for feed back like what shots did we feel the most confident. Then he consistently helped us recreate our best looks throughout the rest of the the session. Our photos truly blew our expectations and Jashim is the sweetest person ever. I'm not sure how he'll outdo himself on our wedding day but I'm sure he will again!

When we began planning our wedding, my husband and I talked about the 'must haves' for our wedding- things that we knew were non-negotiable to us. The top of both of our lists were our photographer. We knew above all else, we wanted someone who could capture our wedding and give us memories that we could look back at years later. We both looked at multiple photographers, but Jashim Jalal's Instagram was the one we kept coming back to. His candids were beautiful, perfectly capturing the emotion of his couples' day and telling a perfect story. His portraits were absolutely breathtaking and looked like something out of a magazine. We still were between a few choices, but what really sealed the deal for us was my initial phone call with him. When you first speak to Jashim, he automatically makes you feel like a friend. He genuinely wants to know your story and what your vision of the day is. When speaking to him, you can tell that photography is truly his passion and it was something that absolutely won me over that as soon as I finished my call with him, I called my fiancé and told him that we had found our wedding photographer. Our engagement session with Jashim was great! We decided to try an outdoor nature -filled engagement shoot and Jashim made every picture look amazing. He kept us at ease and laughing the entire day, and gave us tips of how to pose and look more natural in front of his camera. On my wedding day, it was so great to see a familiar face that morning! Jashim came in with a big smile and automatically went to work, blending so well into the background and capturing images that I didn't even realize were happening! He, Christa his assistant, and our second photographer, Ruby, were with us throughout the entire day and captured every important moment of our day so perfectly. One of the things I was most concerned about was that a majority of our bridal party/couple pictures would be taking place outside after the sun went down due to our late November wedding. A huge part of me was nervous about how these pictures would turn out. Jashim and Ruby- when I say that these nighttime pictures are my absolute favorite from our album, I truly mean it. They are so breathtaking and so much more than I ever could have imagined. Looking through each of these pictures has been great, seeing the emotion captured during the day, the moments we didn't even realize were happening, and seeing all of our friends and family celebrating together. If you are hesitating on whether or not to book Jashim, do yourself a favor and book a call with him, and see for yourself why he may be the perfect photographer for you!
