My husband and I were looking for someplace to have our newborn photoshoot in Staten Island and came across Madero Photography. After reading the reviews we decided to give Madero Photography a chance and let me tell you we were not disappointed! Jessica is quick to respond to any inquiry whether by email or phone and is really kind, patient and professional. She took her time with our baby and made sure the comfort of our baby was top priority. Her studio is nice and spacious. And to help keep baby calm through the photoshoot, she had the room set to a comfortable temperature and played calming music in the background. If anyone is looking for a great photographer in the area, don’t hesitate to contact Jessica! Shes great! 😊

The environment was very welcoming and she was very friendly and supportive. She has a great eye and attention to detail. She helped me find the right dresses that fit my body. (I'm far from petite...but sizably beautiful!) I felt great and the poses she chose for my husband and I were nice and it felt very special. She also made sure a pose I wanted was added to the shoot. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and once my baby is born I plan on arranging another shoot!

From start to finish we had a lovely experience with Jessica, and adore the resulting photos from the milestone session with our three-month old son James. She was patient and upbeat during the shoot, capturing the very best of him. She adapted the session to James' current abilities day-of and his tummy time poses were easily amongst our favorites in the end! As a first time mom to a newborn, it was also a welcome relief to have Jessica offer to mask during the shoot as soon as we arrived on her doorstep. Knowing she was willing to match our comfort level to make this a stress-free experience really put me at ease. From a handful of experiences with photographers over the years and my background in video production, I must note that Jessica's professionalism is also top-notch! The process of working with her, session preparation details, transparency in pricing, and what a package does/doesn't include - all details and expectations are laid out in a super clear and thoughtful way. Any questions we had were answered in the same manner. Jessica's talent and professionalism as a photographer leave a lasting impression, and I can easily recommend working with her!

Jessica was a pleasure to work with for my daughter’s newborn photos. She is excellent to communicate with leading up to the session, with quick responses to my emails when setting up the session and any questions I had. She was so lovely and caring when photographing my daughter, and the pictures came out beautifully! I honestly can’t stop looking at them! She also had my photos back within a week and choosing pictures through my private online gallery was an absolute breeze. I absolutely recommend Madero Photography and I can’t wait to use her again for other milestone photos!

My name's Mikita Harvey and my husband and I had our maternity shoot with Jessica Modero in July and what a great experience. She was very warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. She also has a collection of beautiful dresses. My husband and I didn't know what to expect since it was our first maternity shoot and we were blown off by Jessica's warmth and professionalism. I highly recommend her and look forward to her taking our first family picture in the near future.
