I have had TWO incredible experiences at Kramer Portraits! The first was after winning a pet portrait contest on Instagram and then upgrading to a larger size and paying the difference! My studio experience in CT was seamless, comfortable, and my pup Chenzo and I were captured beautifully and elegantly. Going through our images and picking the best angles was such a fun experience. Being a creative person myself, I was in awe of the detail and time that I was given to make final decisions and go through payment plan options. 16 weeks later, our beautifully framed portrait arrived and we could NOT be happier! My second experience was just as great; I was chosen as part of the 75 year family portrait group to get a complimentary session and some credit towards an 11x13 painting. Chenzo and I went back to CT for our session, had a wonderful conversation with Jennifer as we chose our images together and decided to upgrade to the same size as before, with a frame so that both of our paintings could be hung together!! I will be receiving my second frame this week along with three additional smaller sizes and I am sure that they will be JUST as beautiful ❤️ THANK YOU Kramer Portraits for the professionalism, the time and care during appointments, meeting all pricing and timeline expectations and making both experiences so great!

Wish I could give ZERO stars!!!!!!! TOTAL SCAM they could of Been more upfront that I didn't actually win anything for free and that I was going to be told the “free” size quality wasn’t going to look good and boom $4000 later for a bigger size picture. Is completely ridiculous you took advantage knowing this portrait session was special to us. And at this point it is what it is but I wouldn’t come back here or recommend it to anyone and I will also warn others to not even bother to entertain your pop ups on their social media sites as that is how I “won” this session. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCAMMERS PERIOD

I am deeply disappointed by my experience with Kramer Studio in Red Bank, NJ. My 15-year-old son was told he had won a contest for a $2000 gift certificate, only to be charged $250 for booking and an additional $4000 for an 18x24 oil paint portrait. This exorbitant price is simply unacceptable, especially considering the age of my son and the financial strain it has placed on our family. It is clear that Kramer Studio engages in deceptive practices and preys on unsuspecting individuals, particularly young ones. It is shameful to take advantage of a child's excitement and goodwill in such a manner. I urge anyone reading this review to avoid doing business with this company and to spread awareness of their unethical behavior. I am now left to work tirelessly to pay off the credit card debt incurred by this scam. It is disheartening to see a company exploit the innocence and trust of a young individual for their own gain. My thoughts are with those who have been similarly affected by Kramer Studio's deceitful tactics. In conclusion, I implore Kramer Studio to reconsider their business practices and to take responsibility for the harm they have caused. It is my hope that justice will prevail and that others will be spared from falling victim to such deceitful schemes in the future.

This was our second time sitting for Kramer Portraits and both times were wonderful experiences. Mr. Kramer captured our youthful family 12 years ago and recreated a timeless masterpiece years later. The staff and Mr. Kramer were extremely professional from the beginning to the end. We are grateful that they helped create pieces of art that will be with the family forever.

BEWARE SCAM!!!!!!!, if you are receiving a gift certificate. I had won a certificate of $1500 for a free session and 11×14 portrait. The session went great except when it came time to view photos I was told that the quality of the 11×14 would not be good. So we got a size bigger. They are not transparent about cost at all. This session was very special to me because it was our first portrait of our kids. I had not took a family picture after the death of our oldest daughter. Nothing is complimentary and the cost is well of $2000. I left there feeling like I had been taking advantage of, and sick to my stomach because the reason I thought I was going was because they valued our story and we were part of the siblings project. You leave there feeling like you just came from a time share meeting. Highly disappointed that this company preys on vulnerable people. It is absolutely disappointing and disgusting. They also state once your payment goes through you can't stop production. If you do not pay you will be taken to court. You also do not get your $200 appointment deposit back. They apply it to your final purchase.
