I love ❤️ the pictures I received from this company. The quality is amazing. 🤩 Being of African descent, we are concerned about the light and color when it comes to photography. I forgot to select a background for my children school pictures, they chose a background that was absolutely perfect for the photographs of my son and daughter. Happy our PTA selected Real Photos NYC.

Just got my little one’s school photos last week and I’m so disappointed. I do photography and shot her pre-K class’ graduation/class photos last year and got every kid to smile in a naturally relaxed way so I know it’s possible. My kid looked like she was trying to smile awkwardly while a monster was waiting in the shadows to attack…she never looked so scared in photos. Then I saw a code on the envelope promising “more photos” and got excited… but for the last 4 days the code hasn’t worked. I called customer service yesterday morning and was pleasantly surprised by a real human and he was really nice (only reason they’re not getting 1 star). Told me the code would work in 2 hours because they were still being uploaded (it’s been 24+ hours and still doesn’t work. I feel like codes shouldn’t be distributed knowing photos aren’t up yet). I asked about retakes and was told they’re free if we give back the package…I didn’t know that and already gave away 2 wallets so there goes that. The class photo was great, but I spent $50 on badly taken photos with a background I didn’t even like (but the school chose our options) and I regret not just doing it myself or taking her with her uniform somewhere else. Lesson learned for next year.

I just received my child's graduation pictures. I'm not pleased with them ! The background is too dark (this was the only choice). In all my years of taking pictures and now having children taking pictures, this company has been the worst. There was no choice on how to brighten the pictures. No choice to take other pictures than just the cap & gown. Also the class picture was not included! (My class pictures were ALWAYS included) I found out the cap was fake! The access code on the envelope doesn't work. This was a waste of my money.

Extremely upset with this place once again! This is the 2nd time this place has let me down so bad. So apparently this year there was a time span window to order a package of pictures that the parents never get to see and make sure you like them!? How do you people run a business like this honestly? This is so upsetting that I cant even get my child's school photos this year because I had to buy them in advance before the pictures are taken let alone seen. I was given a paper that reads “For Online Payments (Which according to the paper as well you can only purchase them ONLINE: Orders will be accepted from today until the day before picture day at 5PM to ensure accurate reporting”. The access code thats given does not even work when trying to use on the website, overall both experiences with this place have been beyond awful and unfortunately I would not recommend. If I had the option to leave no stars I would.
