There are not enough words to describe how wonderful our experience was with Denise! Simply put - she is INCREDIBLE. We had an outdoor family photo session with her in June 2023. From the outset, she was friendly, accommodating, and a breeze to schedule with. We have 9-month-old twin boys which certainly poses challenges for a smooth photo shoot but Denise came prepared with high energy, an amazing attitude, and an openness for capturing our family in lots of fun, candid ways. We had our photos in no time and we were so thrilled with what she produced! The images were lighthearted, visually interesting, endearing, and beautiful. It has been a delight to share them with family and friends. We could not recommend Denise highly enough!

I'd decided to take an official portrait to commemorate a very special birthday, especially since it had been many moons since I'd taken any professional photos. Denise walked me through every step of the way, from creating Pinterest boards of photos that I loved to offering tips on how to look and feel my very best on the day of my shoot. As for the shoot itself (which occurred on my actual birthday)? Denise was incredibly patient with me and went the extra mile to ensure that I took great pictures. She made the choice to have a birthday portrait done extremely worth my while. I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants to have a birthday portrait (or any portrait) done and can attest to other five-star reviews about capturing a subject (me) at their best.

This relaxing atmosphere allows you to be yourself even when the camera is in front of you .Her forte' is capturing the essence of the person in a candid creative way . I admire her skillful use of lighting. I highly recommend Denise Chastain for any photo needs you may have.

Denise came to our Family Farm to photograph our family. She was very easy to have a conversation with and the boys, especially Ezra loved her. Denise is a professional in so many ways. She was part of the family the minute she said hello.
