Laura provided a wonderful personalized experience. I’m awkward with pictures but she supported me in looking like a natural. She kept me smiling and laughing. I’m 9 months and 3 weeks pregnant ( feeling big heavy and uncomfortable) and she helped me feel beautiful. She also found beautiful locations in Central Park that did not require too much walking. Just amazing, can’t wait to book with her again❤️

Wow! I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a boudoir photography shoot for the holidays, and we had our session about nine days ago. First, let me state how accommodating and fun, the process was to work with Layra for this gift idea! I knew I wanted to use Layra’s services because I had seen her incredible work through social media and I am so grateful that I did! Our shoot turned out amazing and was so much fun to do. Layra instantly made us feel so at home. The makeup artist she used was also top-notch and made us feel even more confident! We just got our photos back last night, and we couldn’t stop looking at them because they’re so beautiful, artistic, sexy and such a treasure to have as a representation of our loving relationship! We absolutely recommend Layra!! What a gift!

Working with Layra was amazing! From the initial process of getting all the paperwork signed and payment processed to the day of the actual shoot, she was always organized, flexible, and prompt to respond. During the actual shoot, she made sure to incorporate all my ideas but also brought a lot of different ideas to the table about different poses, types of shots, locations/backgrounds, etc. Layra has amazing energy and is so positive to be around which made the entire shoot super fun from start to finish. She turned around the edited shots within 12 hours and I am in love with the final result! I highly recommend working with Layra and have recommended her to multiple friends of mine.

Where do I begin? I have been thinking about doing a boudoir shoot for two years. As soon as I saw Layra's photos, I knew she was the artist I wanted to work with. I wanted boudoir photos to remind me how powerful, beautiful and sexy I am...even as the world tells me that I'm not because I'm a larger Black woman. As I've done the inner work to heal my relationship with my body, I wanted to do a shoot for the experience as well as the resulting photos. Layra not only created a loving space for us (not just me, but herself too!) to harness our sacred feminine power and beauty, but she leverages her keen eye to capture to most breathtaking images! The quality of the final images is exemplary! I'm already thinking through ideas for my next shoot! I encourage you to contact her, you will not regret it!

I choose to do a Boudoir session because it was something I’ve always wanted to experience. However, I choose Layra because of her professionalism, communication, energy, her encouragement and her photographs are gorgeous ! Take a look at her page y’all. I loved everything from the makeup and the photo session being able to have outfit changes was truly the cherry on top! I wanted a mix of experiences in my photo shoot . Sexy, sensual and playful. Also, my album is BEAUTIFUL. I am SO looking forward to my next one. This is a form of self care for me. And being able to capture myself as I am- RAW. I would highly highly recommend anyone wanting to invest in themselves to this photo shoot.
