Luis from Lacuna did such a phenomenal job with our engagement proposal shoot in April 2022. This was a surprise indoor proposal at a public venue, and he made sure to get there well in advance and find the right spot, which turned out great. After the magical moment, Luis' clear expertise and guidance were instrumental as we did an outdoor shoot along the streets of NYC following the proposal, and the unknown variables including day-of weather, landscape/backdrops, pedestrian and car traffic (and other factors), make it tough to plan for but he clearly knew what to do and didn't waste any time. He made us feel comfortable, and we really enjoyed working with him, not to mention that his turnaround time was quicker than anyone we've spoken with. We're so happy with how the photos came out!! These are one-time moments that we'll cherish for a lifetime, and we're glad we had Luis there to capture it all and guide us through a wonderful indoor/outdoor photo shoot. I found Luis online and from day one he was courteous, professional, and communicative. He was always available when needed, both by phone and email. Even with my date and location change, Luis came through for us and made everything work out according to plan and without hesitation. I would highly recommend Luis for any photography needs, especially for those special moments and big occasions. Excellent experience!!

Luis and Emily are amazing! My friends and I had a graduation photoshoot with them and they were so patient and meticulous. Luis would wait until the area was cleared so that strangers won’t appear in the photos and Emily made sure we were doing okay in the heat and had shade. I’m not good at posing and Luis and Emily would help me pose, which made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. Highly recommend!!

I own a small catering business and this was my first time using a professional photographer. LACUNA came highly recommended, and did not disappoint. They made me feel comfortable and at ease the whole time. They even gave me tips and pointers for doing food photography on Instagram! Would definitely recommend them for any business!
