Came here for holiday photos and used Groupon to save even more money. Santa stopped by as well- we didn’t use that for our pics. Located in the basement of JC Penney store. Can’t beat the price and quality of the photos. Robyn was our photographer and she was outstanding. Helped our baby stay focused and get the best family shots we could get. Just so glad to have had Robyn engaged our baby!!!

I honestly did not think I would be leaving such a bad review after such a nice experience taking photos, but what JCP portraits did is completely unprofessional and horrifying as a parent. I took my son for some birthday photos, we had such a nice experience there and I was told my photos would be ready after 24-48 hours. Well after 48 hours we still had not received the photos so I got concerned and contacted JCP and shutterfly/lifetouch and come to find out that JCP sent my ONE YEAR OLD CHILDS photos to a different email address! So some random individual that I have nothing to do with now has my child's photos!! How is this not against the JCP privacy policy? I am completely and utterly disgusted by JCP's lack of professionalism and common sense in regards to my photos. And when I asked for a full refund, I was told that the photos are nonrefundable and they cannot do anything in regards to a full refund. I'm sorry but does this extreme circumstance not warrant a full refund? This experience of taking my son's photos was absolutely ruined by the fact that I know now his photos were sent to some random person and god knows what kind of person it could be! Trust that there will be an investigation into this! I am astounded that such a big company could make this kind of reckless mistake and not take accountability and offer the deceiving party a full refund. Please parents and everyone else - beware of this because I never thought something like this could happen to me and it could happen to you too. Do not go here!!

We had a positive experience with our photographer. She made sure to explain all of our choices to us and was great at directing us during the shoot. She was also extremely patient and loving towards our 14 year old Yorkie. She managed to get his attention over and over again, which can prove difficult in an outside environment for many/must dogs. We are very happy we got the Groupon and added on the additional time, because honestly, our dog’s attention span needed it. We of course added on to our Groupon once we saw the photos and got the digital copies.

I highly recommend this JCPenney Portraits location - located in the basement of the JCPenney’s at Roosevelt Field Mall. They have multiple Groupon selections on the Groupon App for you to find a great deal on photography, prints, digital images, canvas, etc! We had a different photographer both times we have gone here, once in 2021 and once in 2022 and both photographers were amazing and did a great job with taking photos that will be a memory forever. I highly recommend coming here for any and all of your photography needs, 5/5 stars 🌟

This was my first time using JCP Portraits for my Christmas pictures. I made a 10:30am appointment for pictures with my 21-month-old son. I made this note in the appointment booking AND told them when they called to confirm the appointment 2 days prior. We were 15 minutes early, and we noticed there were a lot of people waiting. There was not a single seat available in the waiting area. So I asked the woman checking us in if we would be waiting a while (mostly to plan ahead and entertain my toddler). She advised there were only 2 groups ahead of us, so it would only be 15 minutes. There was literally no point in making an appointment because we waited 45 MINUTES to take pictures. We were then rushed through the pictures and only got 19 images. The photographer only used 1 Christmas prop and only posed my family in 3 or 4 positions. We then had to wait 35 minutes to look at the images and select the ones we wanted, package we wanted, etc. I understand that it’s the holiday season and things are busier than usual, but we were there for 2 hours for something that should have been a lot smoother.
