We worked with Karis for both our engagement and wedding, and absolutely loved our experience with her. The photos are simply gorgeous and we couldn't ask for anything more. Karis captured all the moments we wanted--a perfect mix of details, directed, and candid. She's super easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, from our first consultation call to our wedding day and beyond. There were moments in the wedding day that were a bit chaotic but in those moments, I literally thought "thank god we have Karis". She handled them like the pro that she is! An added bonus is that she's bilingual and can speak Korean. This came in so handy when it was time to wrangle and direct my family for photos. We're so grateful to have beautiful photos for a lifetime, and we highly recommend Karis and her team!!

Karis photographed our wedding (and an engagement shoot) and did an incredible job! Our photos are natural looking, creative, and unique - capturing our wedding day perfectly. Karis found different ways to have us pose and in unexpected places. She and her second shooter, Jeanie, were a pleasure to spend our wedding day with! They went with the flow, helped get group photos quickly and easily, and went above and beyond - fanned us on a very hot day and tied bow ties. If you’re looking for a natural light photographer, we highly recommend Karis!!

We absolutely loved working with Karis for our wedding and engagement photos! All of our photos came out beautiful and there was a perfect mixture of posed and candid shots, which is exactly what we wanted. The photos came out so natural and truly captured the day and all the fun we had. Karis was so easy going and was able to help us get the perfect shots without any stress. Also we loved how simple her photography package was, it had everything we needed. With wedding planning we felt like we had choice overload so the simplicity of it was just what we were looking for. She included an engagement photo session as well which was so great, because we got a chance to get to know each other and work together before the wedding day, so we felt totally comfortable. I really cannot recommend heykaris enough!

My husband and I eloped before we had a big family celebration and Karis captured our special day. She was INCREDIBLE. I wish we would have had her for our larger family celebration. She was great at directing us and telling us how to pose without the photos looking posed at all. I'm actually searching to see if she does family photos and realized I never left a review! I'm hoping she can become our family photographer (if she does that!) Fingers crossed!

We had a wonderful experience with Karis for our microwedding event! Karis is so professional and incredibly talented. We're not familiar with posing for photos, so we loved that she gave us very clear instructions and allowed us to have fun and feel comfortable! It's very clear that she is highly experienced. She has a great eye for finding the ideal shooting location, and was able to incorporate the natural and architectural elements of the venue. Our photos came out so dreamy, soft, and natural. All of our friends and family are so impressed by her work. We will definitely use Karis's services again for our next event and would highly recommend her to everyone!
