I was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. I honestly didn’t go into this studio with much expectation, but it was very clean. Everything is self-serving, which is a great convenience. I had everything that I needed. The bathrooms were clean. The studio was warm. Everything was where It was supposed to be I left on time and had a great shoot. Definitely recommend.

A great space for almost any type of shoot. There were multiple rooms available for rental. All very dynamically different and private. The booking was easy and the staff was friendly. There was a hiccup with our checkin where there wasn't staff available when we arrived but they were transparent with the issue, and remedied it immediately while allowing us to make up the time. There are multiple locations in the city and a few across the country. We are definitely going back.

I have been a loyal user of FD Studio for years, and it saddens me deeply to see how the experience has changed for the worse under their self-service model. What once felt like a professional and supportive environment has become an exercise in frustration. The lack of available help when you need it is glaring; whether it's equipment issues, lighting adjustments, or any general support, there's no one around to assist. This leaves you feeling stranded and truly neglected. What used to be a reliable space for creativity now feels cold and unattended. I’m already exploring other studio options as a result. While self-service might work for some, the lack of a human touch and professional support has seriously hurt the overall experience at FD Studio. For loyal customers like myself, it’s disappointing to see this decline.

Hi Jenna, The studio seemed beat up and because of this, overpriced. The most of the chairs and the cabinets were scuffed up. Then there was a tall wooden stool that is on the verge of collapsing and is very unsafe to use. Also the strobes worked but the remotes made them fire sporadically. So I decided to use my own system because of this. Lastly the trash was not emptied after the previous user so I found it partially filled. Also, why am I being asked to tip when no one is on site to help?
